RED TAIL GOLDEN
This is my 2 1/2 years old Red Tailed Golden Arowana (Dec 1999). It has a bluish shine up to the fifth level of the body's scale. See that glittering shine as it stands out prominently from its dark base/top. It has the most desired fan shaped tail. (Can't be seen here as the fish is making a turn)
EMPEROR BLOOD RED
This is my 1 1/2 years old Number 1 Red Arowana (Dec 1999). This babe is the Coolest Number 1 Red that I have ever seen. See that long finnage... that Red lips and Cheeks. It has a long Tail and Pectoral Fins. As it swims, this Majesty resembles the Emperor in his flowing Gown.
CROSS BACK BLUE BASE GOLDEN
This is my recently acquired 7 months old X-back Blue Base Golden Arowana (Feb 2000). When this pic is taken, a number "18" is reflected from the TV screen onto the gill of the fish. See that bluish tint on the gill ? Zoom into it and you will be able to see "18". It has a thin frame and the base is Sky Blue in Colour. He looks awesome. The crossing is already at the 5th level.
Chilli Red
This is my recently acquired 6 months old Chilli Red Arowana (March 2000). The most expensive Arowana I've purchased so far. As you can see, no development of colours on the gill. There are infact many choices to choose from that day, and many of which have distinctive gill cover colour development. Why I ended up with this sweetie with no Red Cheeks... ? The reason is the body shine. The distinctive purplish shine, which is often associated with Chilli Red, and of course the double tone Brown Red Tail. The colour of the cheeks can wait,,,and when the colour comes, it will be blossoming not only at the cheeks, but throughout the body as well. Last but not least, this babe has no scale frame... there will be no limit to the colour development across its scales (Unlike those "Scale frame" specimen). This is a Dragon that is full of the future !!
